WHO WE ARE
WOMEN’S HELP SERVICES is a pregnancy resource organization that has been serving women facing unplanned pregnancies since 1978. Originally known as McHenry Birthright, the organization has undergone a few name changes and locations over the years, but the core mission has remained consistent: to empower women in unplanned pregnancies to choose life.
Our MEDICAL CENTER, located in McHenry, is staffed by licensed medical professionals. There, our nurses offer pregnancy testing, options information, and STD testing, treatment, and education. Additionally, our sonographers provide life-affirmingultrasounds so that women can learn more about their developing pregnancies.
Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers go out of their way to help support women and families both during and after pregnancy so that choosing life is a realistic option for them.
Women’s Help Services does not receive any government funding. We provide all these life-saving services free of charge thanks to our generous donors and our dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
